Lions Club of Tatura

The Lions Club of Tatura is a country club within the City of Greater Shepparton.

The Lions Club of Tatura was formed in 1971. We have 21-24 members, male and female, drawn from the local community. We are all volunteers. We serve our community and have fun and fellowship with each other.

We meet at the Senior Citizens rooms in Mactier Gardens on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month except January, from 6:00pm (for 6:30pm) with a meal together.

As well as having fun together we are committed to:

  1. Serving the Tatura Community.

  2. Raising funds to invest in local projects and projects that could in the future affect the local community.

  3. providing activities and events for the local community

  4. supporting other community groups

  5. promoting other community groups and activities.

We run a number of signature projects that are described in the signature projects page of this web site.

Being a Lion has significant benefits

All of our members:-

1. Get multiple opportunities to serve the community in a range of ways

2. Have opportunities to increase their skills as they participate in various projects, assist in organising projects.

and hold various roles within the club.

3. make long term friendships
